Happy Easter

Soon it will be Easter and I always like to give people cards. Even better, I like to make those cards myself. I am a Photoshop-beginner and I always try out some stuff and this time I made a postcard for Easter.

It's a really simple card but that's really how I love my cards! I am a bit obsessed by typography and I have like a lot -really a lot- of fonts on my computer to play with. The fonts mostly come from this website: losttype. Beautiful retro fonts but also some modern ones, worth checking out. The brushes I used for this card come from Brusheezy. I always search for free things and both sites offer that, on Brusheezy you sometimes really have to search to find some good brushes. I made the letters and the shape-thing look a little dusty to give it an old look.

I also made a birthday card for my cousin recently, she loves bunnies so I used a really funny looking one. She really love her card, that makes me so happy.

These fonts come from Dafont
Flowers and waterpaint are brushes from Brusheezy.

And then I also tried out something with a quote I really love about home. This is made to print out to put up in our house because family is really important to us.

Fonts from both Dafont and losttype.
Image from google and brushes Brusheezy.

I also have some older try-outs, some of them were made by following a tutorial online, some I created myself.

Hope you enjoyed this and let me know what you thinks about it!
Love, Sinitta
